Terms of use
Effective date: 5 October 2026
By using the Jood — جود app or the getjood.app website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Jood is
Jood is a tool for recording and tracking invoices and payments between stores and their customers. Jood records money and never moves it: it is not a bank, a payment service or an escrow, and it does not receive or transfer funds. Payment happens outside Jood, and is then recorded in it.
Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens through your account.
- A phone number belongs to one account, and your account type (merchant or customer) decides what you can do.
Stores and staff
Every store has one owner, who can invite staff by phone number. Staff act on behalf of the store, and the owner is responsible for choosing who they invite.
Invoices and records
- An invoice is a shared record that both sides can see. Whoever issues it is responsible for its accuracy.
- An invoice becomes a fixed record only once the other side accepts it. After that, its lines and total are frozen and only payments are added to its record.
- Jood does not check that goods were delivered or that a payment really took place, is not a party to any transaction between its users, and does not settle disputes between them. A record in Jood reflects what both sides entered and agreed in the app, and nothing more.
Acceptable use
Do not use Jood for anything unlawful, to record false or misleading information, to impersonate someone, to harass others, to try to reach data that is not yours or disrupt the service, or to harvest or probe phone numbers automatically.
Files you upload
If you upload a payment-proof image or any other file, you confirm you have the right to, and you understand that the other side of the invoice will see it.
Plans and limits
Features and usage limits can differ by plan and by market, as shown in the app, and they may change.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Jood available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve the service or change its features.
Suspension and ending your use
You can delete your account at any time, as described on the delete your account page. We may suspend an account or a store that breaks these terms. A suspended store can still see its existing records but cannot create new ones, and its customers can still view, accept or reject the invoices it already issued.
Limits of our responsibility
Jood is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that result from business decisions, unpaid invoices, disputes between users, or interruptions to the service.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms and will update the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using Jood after a change, you accept it.
